HOW IS IT MADE?

PaperWise Natural Machine Glazed paper acquires its unique properties by bringing the paper into contact with a high-gloss cylinder during the drying process on the paper machine. This creates the unique structure of the paper with one slightly glossy side and one matte side. This makes the paper versatile and attractive.

PaperWise Natural Machine Glazed paper also forms the basis for the MG Super Calendered and MG Super Calendered Wet Strength variants. After the PaperWise Natural Machine Glazed paper comes off the paper machine, it is further processed in a supercalendering process: multiple rollers that compress and polish the paper on both sides. By extra smoothing of both sides, the MG Super Calendered and MG Super Calendered Wet Strength paper receives a sleeker finish and an extra glossy surface, making it ideal for high-quality applications.

For PaperWise Natural MG Super Calendered Wet Strength paper, a special treatment is added to the paper pulp, making the paper more resistant to moisture and tearing. This makes it perfectly suitable for use in humid environments.
